The Gables Inn : Hot Springs, Arkansas

On our search for a heart tub in each state, we were brought to this adorable bed and breakfast! 2 different rooms with heart tubs, and overall a quaint little home with beautiful vintage charm.

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas

Cost: ~$200

Our Overall Rating: 4/5

I usually like something with more of an over-the-top theme, but the fact that Hot Springs Arkansas has two heart tubs is still quite exciting! The bnb was charming and comfortable and the owners were very friendly. The breakfast was homemade and delicious and served at the dining table so it’s a real old school vibe where you meet the other guests. It was also a really fun little town to walk around and explore.

Cleanliness Rating: 4/5

Clean and well cared for but lots of vintage and feels like you’re staying in somebody’s home (which, I suppose, you are!) so probably on par for a nice bnb.

Favorite Room: Either room with a heart tub!

Magnolia Inn : Southaven, Mississippi

A generic hotel with a few (very cool) retro themed suites just minutes away from Elvis’s former home Graceland!

Location: Southaven, Mississippi

Cost: ~$200

Our Overall Rating: 3/5

I don’t want to overhype this place, because it really is just a generic hotel with a couple of retro themed suites…but the suites are so cool!! The Hawaiian Waters one was the coolest and seemed to be in really good shape. Classic designs we’ve really only seen in the Midwest before. I also loved the Roman room and the Heart’s Delight (which had a heart tub) – although that one was the most rundown. Still…some seriously wonderful designs to find out here!

Cleanliness Rating: 2.5/5

Pretty on par with other basic motels we’ve stayed in for roadtrips. Some of the rooms were more worn than others, and they did have some smoking rooms, but the Roman room and Hawaiian room were in the best shape and didn’t smell like smoke.

Favorite Room: Probably the Hawaiian one!

Olympic Railway Inn : Sequim, Washington

The cutest train car bnb! The property feels like a quaint little train yard but each car is a uniquely themed cabin.

Location: Sequim, Washington

Cost: ~$100-$250

Our Overall Rating: 4/5

This place was so fun and adorable! A bit like glamping since you’re sleeping in a train car, but they’re cozy and spacious enough to not feel cramped. The interiors are all fairly new so it felt clean and comfortable! The new owners are redoing a few things on the property so we hear there will be more soon – like a dining car – which will help it feel like an even more complete getaway. The area was beautiful and you can smell the nearby lavender fields. So fun and unique!

Cleanliness Rating: 5/5

Super clean!

Favorite Room: We loved the Lavender car but they have some other really gorgeous ones too!

House of Adora : Nashville, Tennessee

An incredible pink Barbie-core house full of Hollywood Regency and vintage kitsch. Not currently available for overnight booking, but since you can rent this stunning house for shoots I wanted to put it on our list!

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Cost: Day rates only

Our Overall Rating: 5/5

This is one of those locations I just loved slowly wandering through, trying to take in all the details. Beverly, the owner, has spent the last several years thrifting and collecting all kinds of vintage trinkets and set pieces and furniture and it all came together to create a wild and fun interior! Super impressive and I can only imagine how fun a photoshoot would be in here.

Favorite Room: The red bedroom!

Graduate Hotel : Nashville, Tennessee

The most kitschy pink decor of all the Graduate Hotels! This one is extra fabulous and full of Dolly Parton. Perfect for a Nashville visit!

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Cost: ~$200-$1000 depending on the room and time of year.

Our Overall Rating: 5/5

This definitely became our favorite Graduate Hotel. So much pink, so much glam, so much over-the-top goodness. We loved the 9-to-5 Dolly Parton suite (with a water bed!!) but also the regular rooms were amazing too. Rooftop is a whole vibe, highly recommend making sure you get reservations during your stay! Can’t miss the giant Dolly bust up there!! Also, we missed out, but on weekends you can go to their karaoke bar that has an animatronic band!

Cleanliness Rating: 5/5

It’s a fairly new hotel and it felt really well cleaned and cared for.

Favorite Room: Any! 9-to-5 for the extra pizzazz.
