We still absolutely love this place, but when comparing them to the other 2 Cove Haven Resorts, there are a few perks missing that make this a complete experience. The location might be more convenient for you so if you’re just looking for a romantic getaway in the privacy of your own room with a trip or two to the light-up bar, this place will do just fine! We thought the live musicians were a blast and we loved our private jacuzzi and the game room. The dining room doesn’t have the fancy views that the other 2 resorts have but they still have plenty of retro charm around the resort.

Pocono Palace: One of the 3 Cove Haven Resorts. Much of what we have to say about this resort applies here including lots of retro romantic charm!

Each Cove Haven resort has something different to offer. Our favorite things about this one are the lake-view dining room, the Green Screen Photography, the Fantasy Apple Room, and a different take on the Champagne-tub room with more natural light called the Roman Tower. This one also has most of their activities under one roof, so maybe a little less walking time! They still offer all kinds of fun activities (paintball! golf carting! bikes! banana boating! karaoke! pool!) and have a slightly more updated feel in some ways, without losing the kitsch and charm we love them for.

Well, Sybaris Pool Suites is like what I hoped being an adult would be like. It’s awesome. A private, clean hotel room with a jacuzzi, massage chairs, pool, water slide, and some kind of sex swing? Yes, absolutely. That’s what you get with their top-tier room the Chalet Swimming Pool Suite. That one isn’t cheap, but they offer an afternoon-only rate at a discount and you’d better believe we took advantage. Their other rooms might not be as wild but they’re still clean and offer quite the romantic evening if you’re ready for it! If you live in the midwest and are looking for a romantic winter getaway without going far, this is your spot. Don’t let people tell you staying at this place is gross. 😉

If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly, give them a call and ask which suites offer intimacy hammocks or sex swings of some kind. Those still have jacuzzi’s and are not as expensive so you’ll really get the bang for your buck.
